How It All Began..

Even as a little girl I have always dreamed about my wedding day and I know a lot of women like me may feel the same. But could you imagine not being able to afford the wedding you know you deserve and the wedding you have always dreamed of because of something going on in your life? This organization is all about making people's dreams come true who may not be able to afford the resources to make their dreams come true.

We have been helping families in the Chippewa Valley for 5 years. I decided to start this company when I realized how stressful paying and planning for the wedding I have always dreamed of while paying all of my medical bills and trying to still make sure everything is going ok at home. In 2005 the man of my dreams asked me to be his wife. It was the happiest day of my life and I couldn't wait to get started on planning my big day. I always dreamed of a big wedding and my fiance told me to dream big, so I did. Then life happened. Only 6 months after getting engaged I was diagnosed with breast cancer and realized my wedding would have to be put on hold. My family and friends decided they were going to help out. With the help of the community and donations they were able to give me the wedding we have always wanted. In 2009 I was able to marry the man of my dreams. It was honestly the happiest day of my life. What made it even better was the week before my wedding I was told by the doctor I was now cancer free!

Without the help of the community I would have never been able to have the wedding the time I had it. It would have taken years.

This is when I decided to start my own organization. To help men and women just like me. It was difficult to start and took a lot of hard work but it has all been worth it. I have been able to meet some amazing men and women and get the experience in wedding planning.

Meet Sam and Dave. Sam came to me with a story I couldn't possibly turn down. Her fiance Dave served in the United States Army and was soon going out on his 4th tour in Iraq. The couple had been engaged for almost 4 years. They knew they wanted a big wedding, but with Dave being gone so much it was nearly impossible to be able to plan a wedding without him there and financially they were hurting. I came to know Sam very well and knew what she wanted for a wedding. We were able to plan her wedding and get everything together in just a short 3 months. Only 5 days after they said "I do" Dave had to leave for Iraq. He said this would be his last tour as he wants to be able to come home to his beautiful wife every day.
